Working whilst you’re on the move is a great way to live. You get to see the world at your own pace, and you never have to stop making your own money as you go. And with the invention of the internet and plenty of portable devices to pack in your bag, you won’t need to find temp jobs that promise cash in hand either!

Make Strong Use of Scheduling Apps
Do you know the time difference between the UK and China? How about between the UK and Australia? Or how the time differences differ between the East and West Coasts of the US and the UK? Don’t take a few seconds to look these up; do you know them off the top of your head right now?
If not, you’re going to need some scheduling apps on your side! Whether you need help ensuring social media content goes out on time, or you need to stay on track with a client’s deadlines despite being halfway across the world, let the app watch the clock so you can focus on doing good work and enjoying your time as you travel.
Get an Accountant
If there’s an accountant back home monitoring your finances and ensuring everything goes into the right pot, you won’t have to worry about making time for this yourself. You also won’t have to worry about accessing sensitive information when you’re on an unstable and insecure wifi signal!
As such, be sure to find an accountant before you go on the road for the first time, make them aware of your plans (where you’ll be going, if you’ll be accepting any other currency in payment), and grant yourself some peace of mind here.
Take the Wifi with You
You can never be sure if you’ll have a strong wifi signal around you, so don’t let yourself depend on the connectivity in the location itself. Instead, always take the wifi with you, no matter where you’re going. Even the remotest of jungles in Asia can be turned into a hotspot with some portable wifi.
You can buy a portable wifi unit to have in your bag, which you can then take out and plug into your devices whenever you need to get online. Some of these units are battery operated and will need charging in between uses, but some can be plugged into the power source at the same time. Buy either version that will suit you and your travel plans best.
